So originally I wanted to get married at the Chateau le Mer then I went back and forth about a church, now the Chateau le Mer is book for the ceremony and I have to now book with my church.My Wedding is 10 months away!!! The church says the ceremony can start at any time. My issue is.. im having a day wedding and my CH starts at 1:30 what time should i have my ceremony? I have to be at the CHateau I believe an hour before CH starts.. I need help bad..

hm.. about 25- 30 mins. I live on the south shore the church is in Garden city 3 mins from my house and CLM is in Lindenhurst.

What about 10, my friend just had his wedding day ruined because his ceremony at the church went over and the whole wedding had to be rushed!!!!!!! Give urself ample time!!!!

I usally work backwards
CH 1:30 You want to be there an hour before 12:30 I would double travel time (you never know) 11:30 1 hour for church + 30 min if receiving line and any pics 10:00
Yeah I would go with 9:00 or 9:30 for church

They had a bilingual ceremony that lasted over 2hrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the guests that didn't go to the church were stuck waiting at the RH starving cause they didn't want to start the cocktail hour without everyone. As a result of this the cocktail hour had to be moved to a different room, not sure if it was the recep room or not but damn. Another thing was that the RH only gave them what time they asked for, so even though they were late getting there, the clock started ticking for the time the CH was assigned, so in actuality they payed for time that no one was even there to enjoy the wedding!!!!! I felt horrible!!!!!!!
