I need some help coming up with theme ideas for my wedding please help

My FH and I are trying to think of theme ideas and we aren't having much luck. We are getting married in Jan 2009 at Giorgio's. I know it is kind of early but we like to be on top of things and have set and done so we can enjoy our planning together instead of rushing and being stressed out about it. Getting things done early and thinking of things early has worked out for us. We have had so much for with our wedding planning and booking things. We are now thinking about if we want a theme or not and the only theme we can come up with is a winter wedding but we would like other ideas to throw around and see what works best for us. Please if anyone has any ideas please help us we really would be really grateful.

What about something w/ candy canes, you could do the colors red and white, someone mentioned earlier having specialty drinks w/ candy cane stirers. Just a thought

Are you stuck on having a theme?

I have to say, I really don't think a theme is necessary. My theme will be... 'Kara and Todd's wedding'

Seriously, though, if you come up with a great theme idea that means something to you, that's awesome. However, don't lock yourself into a theme just for the sake of having a theme if there is not one you really love / want.

What about a color scheme. You don't need a theme. Once you start collecting ideas it will start coming together and you'll know the feel you are looking for.

We are doing a color sceme too. I have a couple ideas on that but not to sure yet what I want. There are some many nice things to choose from and so many different ideas I just don't know what would look best.
