I need some help making things personal
My wedding is in only 16 days....so I need to work fast. I need help adding a personal touch to my wedding. I don't want it to be cold and sterile.
I originally thought it would be great to put old family photos of grandparents on wedding day, parents on wedding day, pictures of us as kids, etc. in the lobby where people will wait prior to ceremony.
However, now we are realizing this is not a good idea.....a lot of those people have died, and a lot are divorced.....FH thinks its really kind of innappropriate and people (esp. my grandmother) will get very upset by it; esp. b/c my Mom died just 2 yrs ago.
Does anyone have any good ideas for adding a 'personal touch?'
We are already giving out cds of songs that we'll be playing.
Any other creative ideas?
