They will probably be cheaper, but I will never regret a single penny I spent at Kleinfeld for the alterations alone. They are the best seamstresses EVER.

I'm not kidding.....if you want to try it on let me know. My gown isn't boxed up yet so I have my veil to play with too if you want.

It's on a comb and it has a metal wrap around, but it's a tiara, not a headband. It just sits ontop of your head, so if you wanted to take it off it would be easy too. And it's so sparkley! Much more than shows on scanned pics.

Would be pretty funny if Fr. B married 2 girls in the same headpiece.

No problem hon!!

You can definitely wear it half and half. I tried at my trial and she did it so that there was fullness behind the highest point of the tiara (if there is no hair behind it, it just sits there and looks like a nurses cap) and she did all these curls and stuff...it was nice but I wanted it all up.

I never took my veil off, but my hair was zig zag parted on top (it was cool upclose) and was pinned all funky in the back.

I wish I had pics of my first trial.

I think it would be easier if it wasn't all the way up actually. You won't need as much 'anchoring'.
