I need some help with a favor/math question

I need help..
How many 4oz containers would 5lbs of m&m's fill? I plan on buying 120 tins.

Like if I bought these tins which are 2 1/2 inches wide and 4 oz deep..how many 5lb bags of m&m's would I have to buy???

Please help..I have absolutely no clue!

the width has nothing to do with it, the capacity that they hold is 4 oz.....isnt there 8 oz in a pound, but it doesnt make sence, a 5 pound bag would fill more than 10 i think.

oh sorry, there are 16 in a pound not 8...i was thinking cups....ok so each pound will make 4 tins, 1 bag will fill twenty tins...you have 120. i think you need 30 pounds at least so 6 bags....

There are 16oz in a pound actually.
