Hi ladies! I fig I could get some help from you guys
I am one of the advisors for a high school class. Our class will be seniors next year and I have to book a place for our prom.
We need a place that can hold at least 400 people. Any suggestions??

I know that Chateau Briand can hold proms, Jericho Terrace is where my school holds their prom, and you can check out Terrace on the Park...They are reasonable and have a very pretty room!

Re: I need some help with a place to hold a prom
I had my prom at Jericho Terrace and I'm getting married there So I'd say its a pretty good place for a prom. My brother is having his this year at Bridgeview and the price his class got was pretty good (I think he's paying 90pp) Although I dont know the capacity.

Where are you looking to hold the prom? Queens, Nassau, Suffolk?

Crest Hollow CC, I went to 2 proms there and they can make the rooms as big/small as you need.
Coral House (is reasonable price if this is a concern)

I also teach high school.
Our proms which have been way over 400 are:
Crest Hollow Huntington Town House WindWatch Jericho Terrace, I hear is pricey for proms The Sands Also, try the Reckson Corp Building in Hempstead, I think it use to be EAB Plaza The Cradle of Aviation Museum (not sure how much it holds)
We have had senior banquets at: Bridgeview MIrage (which is now under renovation)

I also was a class advisor and we held our prom at Terrace on the Park. The kids had an awesome time!! I know we've also used Leonards of Great Neck and Villa Lombardi's. Please FM me if you have any other questions.

Yes, it closed long ago. The building is not being used by anyone.
