i need some help/advice!

hey girls, so here is what i need you girls to help me with... originally i was going to do the votive little candles as the place cards for the seating but now i dont know if am doing this for sure. not only because its takes up a lot of time to do this 2 weeks before the wedding (since you can only them around that time), but friends and family have been telling me it looks pretty and all but its so much work and not worth it because not only that, during the cocktail hour is anyone really going to wanna be walking around with a candle in their hands?? and than what are they going to do with that candle when they go home, when it has their names and table seating # on it - its not like their going to have it out for deco or anything! so now i have started to think twice about this idea, only cause it is a lot of work and than when they started to tell me think about cocktail hour and them walking around with this thing.. so now i am trying to think of other cute ideas i can do with the seating if i dont end up doing that?? i mean im not 100% sure if im going to forget about that idea, i might still in the end, end up doing it but im trying to think of other cute ideas.. i also thought of doing the little candy boxes with my color sheme with a ribbon and doing that for the table seating?? but originally my plan was to have those cute candy boxes with hugs & kisses inside and a little note/monogram label on top for the table setting already with the menu. so if i do that as the seating cards i wont be able to for the tables and i really want to have a cute setting on the tables with something else but the menus! helppp girls, i need you're advice and i dont know what to do now.. what do you girls think?? any ideas of what i can do for the seating and be able to leave the candy boxes for the table setting with the menus! or if i do the candy box as the seating cards any ideas what else i can do thats cute to put on the tables for everyones setting?? i know you girls can come up with great ideas and really help.. and im in need of this now, hehe! thanks girls, cant wait to see what you girls have in mind!

PS: if youd like to share what you girls are doing for the place card seating and if you girls are putting anything else on the tables for the guests besides the menus.. shareee and show pics, thatd be GREAT to see and share with everyone.. so post pics or just tell us about it! :)

the pic below is something i came across of and thought maybe if i do the candy boxes as the place card seating i can use this (below) for the tables?? -- sorry long post, hehe!

We are doing small plastic jars (like 8 oz or so) and they are clear that will be filled with chocolate truffles - all assorted from Morgan's Bay (Favor vendor on here! - they are amazing!) and they will have ribbon around the neck of the jar with the place card attached to it

i found a website that do the votive candles for the place card seating and i think they charge 2 dollars a candle witch i dont think is bad! i might go with them and get them done at this vendor.. its actually a liw vendor! :) so if i go with them and get them done i will do my little favor box with the hugs and kisses inside and pretty bow with a monogram label! :) for the table setting with the menu! :) and might still get that cookie cutter for the table but im not sure cause i think it might be too much!? what do you girls think??

and i dont know if i want to do the actual pretty box with the candy inside or the tic tacs with our label on it.. witch one do you girls think look better for the table??
