My mom bought these really cute 'glass slippers'. THey are actually plastic. They are about 3' long. We wanted to use them at the engagement party/ shower / or even the reception. But I have no idea what to do with them. I think they would look dumb just sitting on the table. My last name is Shoemaker (i know it is terrible ). ANd my FH's is Bloom. We thought maybe some sort of thing about beeing a shoemaker and love BLOOMing I dunno. I feel bad she bought them, I would like to use them, but just dont know for what. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

My theme is Cinderella so we are using these. I can tell you what I am doing with them.
I am putting 3 Jordan almonds in them and wrapping them up in Tulle. Tying them with some pretty silver ribbon and then attaching a favor tag with our names and wedding date.
I went to a Cinderella Sweet 16 and I saw them scattered on the table with some glitter inside and they actually looked really cute. Something to think about....let me know if you need anymore help!

Why don't you buy florist's foam and cut it to fit in the shoe (maybe put a little piece of it in the front part of the shoe), then stick some mini fresh cut flowers in it? You just have to come up with a way to cover the green of the florist's foam. Or you can just buy some fake flowers and glue them into the shoe and use that as your favor.

This might be stupid, but what if you used them as small planters and put flowers in them. I think they might be cute.

I second the flower idea, fresh, not fake. Very cute little planters-I like single flowers in bud vases, are they deep enough to put a tiny flower in? or even just for moss and a little flag/tag
I got something like those once and they were used as placecard holders..but, the shoes had slits on the sides, so that a name card could fit..

like anniegirl suggested why dont you just glue flowers into them. Fresh flowers would be time consuming and they might die. If you use silk or really nice silk that looks real just hotglue them into the shoe and then do the dame with the place cards it would be a cute idea.

I showed mom all you ideas, she liked the flower ideas, so we decided to take a little bit from each of you, and put chocolate flowers (we saw them at a bridal expo) in each shoe as a favor. Thanks ladies.. I knew you would be able to help me!
