As most of you know from one of my posts, FH's brother died. I need some ideas of how to include him the day of our wedding. A memorial or something, I have no clue

you can do a memorial candle, have his name mentioned at the ceremony, and you can gave a charm on your bo-k. so sorry again

Re: I need some ideas
My stepmom and my FH cousin (supposed to be our best man) passed away this year so it is still fresh. We didn't want anything outwardly memorializing them b/c it may get people upset. And also, it's not their shrine, it's our wedding. We are having a page in the program that I put together on photoshop that is a colage of pics of both of them (about 4 pics each). I made it a watermark so it was lighter and then placed a poem over it.
I am buying FH a set of locket cufflinks to place Matt's picture in them, that way he can still be there on the alter with him even those he is not there in person. :)
we are also doing the favor donation to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial candle seems like a nice way to acknowledge the person or a prayer in the program dedicated to them.

We are doing an In Memory Vase for FHs Mom and my MOm and Dad. In our Vase will be 3 Roses 1 Yellow and 2 White. Pastor Mike will be offering a prayer for them.

Re: I need some ideas
I had a memorial candle with my cousin's picture on (She would have been my MOH) The priest said a few nice words about her and then he had FH and I go up and light it together. I also had a poem for her on the back cover of my program.
