I need some motivation ladies

I need some motivation ladies

So I haven't been around again for a while because there's been a lot going on in my life. Just four days after we brought my grandma home from the hospital, my cousin died very unexpectadly of a sudden heart attack (he was only 30).

Things have quieted down somewhat but I've just been so depressed I haven't had the heart to do anything. Now I really want to get back into the planning. FH is finally here and I want to start to think about happy things again.

The problem is, I have zero motivation.

Come on girls..what can I do to get back into the planning process full speed again? It's the one thing I can think of to get me out of my funk.

eta: BTW I missed you all while I was gone!!!

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! My heart goes out to you!

Well... if you already bought your dress... how about shopping around for your veil? or shoes??? something for YOU!

Then that might get you into the groove again.

Here are some huggys and prayers for you!

I am so sorry for your loss.

As for motivation, Have you booked all your vendors? Or spend a day registering with your FI.

Sorry for the sudden loss of your cousin. Perhaps if you have any DIY projects, you can focus on getting them done. Otherwise, maybe do some shopping for what you still need.

So sorry for your loss and other stuff you've been going thru ( i lost my cousin unexpectedly when he was 22 )...sometimes the best way to start healing is to try and enjoy life and get excited about things...those who have passed don't want us to sit around and be sad...but to enjoy each day we are blessed with and to live our lives as much as we can...pick up a bridal magazine and start flipping...or look thru invitation designs...anything to get you in the mood...good luck!! And don't feel guilty for being happy or excited about your wedding, it doesn't mean you disrespect the departed...just remember that...it's what they'd want for you.

I'm so sorry for the tough time you've been having. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I get into these lulls myself where I'm totally not motivated to do anything... the only thing you can do is just dive right in, start looking at vendors. It's kind of like going to the gym, there is nothing that will motivate you so you just kind of have to get up and go. Once you book something, you'll find yourself full speed again.

Hey Eva!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had been thinking about you believe it or not.

Try taking things slow and don't feel guilty for planning your wedding despite of the sad things that have occurred recently.

I know you had put photography aside until FH got here. Maybe start looking at that again. Looking at happy pics of other brides might help you get into the mood again.

Anything, please FM me.

I am so sorry for your loss. I completely understand. I've recently had 2 deaths back to back & the last thing you want to do it make wedding arangements. Maybe take another week or so off- go see a mindless movie- get a manicure. You'll get back into it when you're ready.

So sorry for your lost
Try to look at some magazines and the forum, maybe registering would help too

So sorry to hear about your loss, as hard as it is, and someone else said it, those that are taken from you wouldnt want you to sit around and feel the way you do-as much as its expected.
I would pick up a bridal magazine and start flipping thru it, it may help you get back into the swing of wedding planning!

So sorry about your cousin. Looking through magazines might help, or just spending time on the boards. Being on here gets me excited about the wedding!

Hugs to you and your family.
