I took a new position in my school in September, and I have been having a terrible time getting myself organized. When I was in the classroom I always had kids help me organize materials, hand papers out, collect papers, etc. But since I don't work with kids as often any more I have been such a mess! I was here Saturday and I began to reorganize but I still feel like I can't get on top of things and get all my tasks done. I need some ideas!

you crack me up girl!
Those plastic bins (container store, Bed bath & beyond, staples, office depot, etc...) are a big help with paper work. A desk organizer with slots (for important paper, magazines, etc..), a mug for pens & markers, a post it note holder ... and a file draw. It ***** but in order to be organized you actually HAVE TO file and keep up with it. Set aside time each week to go through papers and throw out, distribute or file them. Like Friday mornings from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. is your time to organize. Good Luck!
