So we decided last night that we are going to spend the money for a video. Since my wedding is in December and I don't live on LI, I really can't go visit a ton of videographers. All I want is a nice elegant video that captures the day. I am not interested in Baby pic montages or honeymoon pic montages, just kind of the chuch and reception with some basic editing and effects that will give the video a nice simpe elegant touch. I am looking into VIP since they are my photographer and I have to meet with them anyway in November to finalize those plans. Here's where I need the help...if you searched for videographers and viewed their work, was there any vendor in particular that seemed to fit what I want in terms of just a simple capture of the day? This would help me narrow it down. Also price is important...my budget is only like $1000 tops for video. I appreciate your guys being my eyes and ears on Long Island!! THanks!! Doreen

Go to Bellarino. Phil has a package under a $1000. Its just the raw footage or the ceremony and reception.

Have you posted this to the vendors board? I am sure there are video vendors on the board that would be able to meet your needs and your budget. Good luck!

I second bellarino. He has packages set up, but you could custom make what you need. I used him for my September wedding and he was like havin an an old friend with you. Such a nice guy and he does great work.

Another Bellarino bride here! I say try him he is so nice and accomadating! Also he gives you a discount on invitations if you book the video with him. A lot of these big places subcontract out there video pople, my friend went thru that with her wedding a few years back and she never got what was promosed to her to this day she tells me how lucky I am to have a great videographer to work with. i saw the sample VIP video (we'll be using john for photography) & i wasn't very impressed. we saw wild rose last week & absolutely loved their work. but with all of these bellarino recommendations, i'm going to call & make an appointment!
