I had to call off my wedding on April 15,2007 .I will have to pay 75% if they can't re-book. I can't give too much info,I don't want to cause trouble for catering hall--they are actually great but if you need that date or know someone who does please contact me. I t was guaranteed for 175 but room holds more. They were charging $90 a plate. The food there is EXCELLENT! The place is IMMACULATE, the syle of the place a matter of taste. I had to call it off because my fiancee was abusive. I made a decision to save my life and now I'm getting screwed for it!!! PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks guys and good luck to you all!!!!

How much of a deposit did you leave? Normally they would keep that, but I've never heard of a place charging to additional after cancellation.

I'm so sorry to hear this unfortunate news but it's better to end it now then to live in misery. Everything happens for a reason and you will be happy for the rest of your life now, even if you loose a few bucks!
