Ok so when i went to italy during college i spent almost every day with my cousin's GF Giusi - i was there for only two weeks but we both cried when i had to leave.
when i was there this past october she was broken up with my cousin and we couldnt even see each other bc we would both burst into tears. . .literally, we both kept backing out bc we were heartbroken
now, they are back together. She sent me a beautiful diamond necklace from italy with my aunt and uncle who are here now. I want to send her something but it is so hard. I want to spend UNDER $100 AND i want it to be something they really cant get there ( which gets harder and harder each year bc they have so much that we have!)
I wish it were the 90s and I could just send her some Levi's and be done with it!
I was thinking of Tiffany's. . . btu I dont want to spend $100 and she doesnt know the brand and she is going to think it it just some sterling silver garbage ( which i mean, it is if you think about it without the name )
any suggestions mucho appreciated!

Ya know what actually...I was originally going to say Tiffany but when I saw your response I decided no....but now that I think of it, Tiffany comes in beautiful wrapping and without a doubt doesn't look cheesy I say go for the T&Co.

I have the same problem. Most of my extended family is in italy and we are very close. I never know what to send them :(
and I feel like everything they always send me is awesome..I will try to come up with somthing for you!

they are in Sicily - so i just looked up Tiffanys and they have them in Rome, Milan and Florence so nowhere near my family SO i think she would know what it is. . .

I family is from sicily also. my grandma moved here when she was 17...I still have aunts and cousins there and I also have family in milan :)

the venetian link bracelet costs an even 100 at tifffany's, its a classic, i luv it, not trashy at all~then in the future when cash flow is better you can get the matching necklace for 200~

lol i dont think tiffanys is trashy i was just saying that she would get what the big deal was and just think it was silver from any old place.
i actually have that bracelet maybe i can clean it and give it to her ha ha jk
