'By Your Side' - Sade for your 1st dance.

It's a wedding music search engine. Just type in the category (father/daughter, cake cutting, first dance, etc.) and a list of songs will come up. You can even limit the list to music genres and tempo. It's fantastic!!!

My Dad asked me to dance with him to 'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Groban. My FH has no idea what he'll dance to with his mother, but the suggestions the others are making are wonderful!

I am. I am doing the father daughter thing...then while the V-hour is going on I am going to dance with my mom. She is my best friend and She raised me as much as my Dad.....even more them my dad! I owe it to her......

father/daughter - since my name is Michelle, I thought it would unique and I danced with my dad to 'Michelle' by the Beatles.
mother/daughter - did not do, but DH danced with his mother to 'In My Life' - again, the Beatles
1st dance - Elvis Presley - I can't help falling in love
after cake dance - was supposed to be 'I could not ask for more' but the band never played it. :(
We did our cake cutting to 'I Will' by The Beatles (see a theme???)

For my first dance at my e-party, we danced to 'When You Kiss Me' by Shania Twain. It's song #19 on the Up! CD. I can't remember if we used the 'pop' or 'country' version of the song -- the song is very beautiful
