I need STARFISH! And Lots of them!!

Anyone know the best sites to get starfish and seashells in bulk?

I've seen them at Quality Shells, Seashell World and Sea Shell City. Those look like the least expensive but still quality. Hope that helps!

what? did I hear a call for mass quantities of starfish? I can definitely help you out with that

harbor bride here, and we are up to our fins in starfish. I printed out placecards, and tied them individually to starfish like the picture below.

When I was begining this DIY, I had lots of warnings from LIW'ers that the pile of starfish would STINK. Alas, they do not. They only smell the tiniest bit... and it discipates if you let them vent for a couple days. I bet the 'smell factor' depends a lot upon either the vendor, or the starfish species.

I recommend you get the exact starfish species from US shell I got, unless you can go to a store and sniff them in person... last thing you want is an aura of 'low tide' at your reception!!!

we purchased finger starfish from US shell. (you have to purchase $50 with them, but if you need tons of them, that should be easy!) They don't seem to have the exact size we purchased (I think they were 5-6' diameter) but you get the idea.

the 2 closest items currently on their site are dyed white natural finger starfish....
