I need suggestions for engagement photo location

Hi Ladies! I need help!
FH and I live in NJ but our photographer is in Mineola. We'd like to have our engagement photos done soon, but each location we're interested in closes at 5pm. (like The Planting Fields)
Since we have to do this on a weeknight it is impossible for us to get to LI earlier than 5pm.

We're trying to find a place in the Mineola area because we have to go to Flower Michele after the photo shoot.

Do any of you know of a park or some other scenic location that doesn't close early?

i took mine in Arthur Von Briesen Park in Staten Island. right by the veranzzano bridge. pics are in my album.

how about where 12th night takes brides.. it has a gazebo in garden city park.. by the fire station..

what did your photographer suggest?

My photographer suggested Planting Fields originally, but it closes early. He also suggested Gerry Park in Roslyn.

Ida - I looked up Lido Beach but can't find any pics... have you been there?

Hey, Lido Beach is right off the Meadowbrook Parkway south. Its in the same direction as Jones Beach.

Its just a beach scene, no gardens or anything. I just thought maybe since your coming into LI late in the evening, the sunset by the ocean would make nice engagement pics.

I go there every week. I have a beach cabana there. Its a really nice beach.
