Don't want to say what right now but I'm planning on doing something either today (hopefully) or tomorrow that I am very nervous about but is very important.

Thanks for those LIW prayers girls!!!

so pretty much for the past 2-3 weeks I have been working up the guts to go into my bosses office and talk about a pay increase (which not only for saving for the wedding but for life in general would come in handy right about now). I have been with this company for 5 years and we doing good as a company so I'm in a good spot to ask for one.

So I went in after lunch to talk to him about it and it seems extremely promising that I will be getting one by the start of the new year! He said we will talk again at before the end of the year to discuss further what he can do for me but that's all I needed to hear for now.

seriously it's so funny because I have a very close relationship with my boss (both in fact) and I could go in there and talk to him about anything... his wife calls and I sit there and talk to her for like 20 mins before giving him the phone... but the idea of going in there and asking for more money made me so nervous I couldn't even look at him (and I actually commented on that after the fact and he laughed)
