I need to call back Audrey's today

Is the chocolate fountain worth it for $5pp? Can I try to get it lowered? I need to call him today because my wedding is in 3 weeks. Tell me what you girls think please.
Oh this includes the chocolate and six dipping items. I think strawberries, pineapple, marshmellow, poundcake, can't think what else. Tax is included.

How many people are you having? Are you having a Viennese Hour? What other desserts are you having?

We are having a dessert cafe in the cocktail room. So they can have a station set aside for it. We are having about 150 guests.

I would try to get them down on the price.
Not because I don't think it's worth it but because I know they can go lower. I got it from there in Jan/Feb for $3 pp and that was the price quoted in the Timber Point CC book from Lessings.

If they wont budge I still think that's a good price. Like I said before someone was quoted $7 pp so Audreys is competitive.

Oh yes, we are having a whole bunch of different cakes, pies, fruit, canolis, etc. That's why I'm thinking that adding this on top of all the dessert already. But I think it's such a great idea, and I know people will like it.

We decided against it, its a lot of $$. $5pp comes to $500 if you only have 100 people at the wedding. Plus I heard it gets really messy - but I've never had one before so who knows.

It's messy on people's faces and things... I have seen it twice and I have yet to see it splatter like people say.

I think that you will have more than enough dessert and the fountain is not necessary.

Also think that when people do see it, and I'm sure it wil be great, it takes away from the end of the party, less people dancing and whatnot.

Also it seems like a lot of extra $$. I think they should go down in price.
