Next time I get my hair cut I'm doing a good deep conditioning.
In the meantime... does any one recommend any particular product I can pickup at CVS or Sally's tonight that I can use that will make my hair feel all better?

I remember my mom telling me back in the 70's they used eggs and mayonaisse.
Sorry, I'm crashing... but I love John Frieda Clear Shine Glaze. It's about $8 at CVS, usually near the haircolor section. It makes my hair soft and shiny. I have long hair and one bottle usually lasts me 4 times.

I use Bumble and Bumble Deeep. Its a deep conditioner/mask and its really gentle but very hydrating. Its a little pricey but worth it.

Sounds gross but a lot of people I know with very dry hair swear by cholesterol by Queen Helene. Again, it sounds gross but it works for them.

Did that two nights ago. Huge difference. My hair felt like raffia. Even my dad told me I had to do something quickly. It feels just like a little dry now. But I have medical issues making my hair brittle... and it still helped a lot.

GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS!!! You can not get anything good enough for your hair at CVS or Sallys. Especially not Dove or Aussie...And def dont use VO5 oil or the cholesterol. All they do is create build up and a coating. They dont penetrate .. If you have any chemicals in your hair thats the worst stufff to use. You need to invest in a better product. Like redken or my latest favorite is Moraccan Oil. OMG that stuff is the best. it gives such incredible shine and conditions your hair to no end. There is a daily shampoo and cond., but there's also mask you can use. We use it all the time in my shop. Trust me. I see my clients all the time coming in with straw hair, cause they use Pantene, Dove and all that other crap. You def get what you pay for. You buy cheap you get cheap. If you're coloring your hair and investiing all that money on it, dont you think you should use something good to maintain it?? Professional products are the best way to go. It's Kinda like an insurance poilcy

ok here it is, it my sound gross, but she swears by it.
put all in a blender and blend till its a liquid. apply to hair and put shower cap over it. try to keep on as long as possiable (she sleeps with it on) if not at least an hour and apply some heat. then rinse out.
hope that helps, like she said thats the best thing that has helped her hair. good luck!
