I NEED TO FIND A NEW CEMONY SITE!

Okay, I'm looking for a park on long island to have my ceremony. We won't have it in a church and we can't afford to spend thousands of dollars for it either. So if anyone has anyone any suggestons I'm all ears.

I don't really know about a park, but keep in mind that you will need an indoor option in case it rains or is cold.

For indoor locatios, try the Historical Chapel in Woodbury on Jericho Tpke

or the C.W Post Interfaith Center.

Both are I think $1000 and with CW Post you get to use the grounds for outdoor photos. (HS has no grounds)

One 04 bride got married at the gazebo in Northport town. I don't know about permit or fees though.

A friend of mine got married in the gardens at the Nassau County Museum of Art (I think that's what it is called). It's in Roslyn.

No we won't do a chapel. I'll check out CW but I'm not worried about the weather, I'll use tent if needed. thank you for your help.

Im not sure who youwould contact, but there is a beautiful park in Roslyn on Roslyn Road (Near George Washington Manor)... Pond, georgeous old homes around it... BUT Im not sure if they would allow a tent (in the even of rain) just a suggestion, maybe take a drive-by. Good Luck!

I don't know if you'd consider it, but I am getting married at the Fire Island Lighthouse (I know both Montauk and Horton Point Lighthouses also hold weddings). I don't know the exact fee (FH handled that), but I believe for Fire Island it is around $500.
