So our church just called me with bad news. The woman that penciled us into their book made a mistake! There is communion going on that Saturday. Therefore, I need to find another church.
So I called a neighboring church (not in our town, but next one over) and explained the situation. I should hear from the deacon in the next few days. Girls, please keep your fingers crossed for me.

yes, the deacon gave me a few to call. one of them i love and wanted to get married at initially but they were really strict about living in the town and being a member of the parish. so we'll see...

I hope it works out. May is communion season so difficult. But if we know where u live maybe we can help with other churches for u to call just in case!

So the deacon called me from the hopefully new church in Hicksville. We are meeting with him on July 14th. I hope that is good news...

dont be nervous.. it's the same with us- the church was getting a new priest (he finally came last week) so for two months we were 'penciled in' the book but have to go meet with the priest this saturday for ours... i'm like sooo..... is it definite?? lol. I think we just have to go through the formalities.
