I need to VENT!

Am I a selfish person??

I am so drained from listening and dealing with my mom. It has been so hard for the past 6 months and it doesnt seem to get any easier. I love her and I totally understand and want to be there for her. I am not saying I am tired of her but every day I try my best to give her the best and to keep her busy so that she can start moving on or at least have a bit of happiness but once the moment is over, its back to the same thing again.

I of course am still grieving over the loss as well and I am not putting a time limit by any means on her suffering but its just getting to me. I call her and every day since it happened its just sadness, complaints, problems. Never once has she gotten on the phone since in a half way good mood. It tends to take a toll.

Guess I am just venting here. Thanks for allowing me to do so!

Sounds like you're both going through a tough time.. vent all you wish.. you're not being selfish at all!

It's going to take a long time to heal for both you and your mom. You should vent here whenever you want - because you can't vent to her right now. I'm so sorry
