I need to vent before I FREAK OUT!!!! (Long)

I'm a perfectionist and want everything to be coordinated. I decided to have my all my girls wear the same shoes. One of my BM's (cousin) said she has wide feet and needs to pick the shoe out herself which I thought was pretty selfish but I decided why not. My cousin came with me, we went through every shoe in the store. Finally the salesgirl said she has a really pretty shoe that is especially made for girls with wide feet. My cousin tried them on she didn't look crazy about them but at the same time did not make a complaint. She asked, what do you think? I said, I love them that's the shoe. We decided to order them and my cousin left still without saying a word. Two days pass and she is complaining to her sister her toes are sticking up. Her sister calls me and complains how ugly the shoes are. Tonight I get a phone call from my sister the MOH who is currently at my cousins house and says, the shoes hurt her feet and she refuses to wear them, mind you the heel is not even 2 inches high.

By the way, my cousin may be doing this on spite because she openly admitted she is jealous I got engaged. She has been with her boyfriend for 10 years and he hasn't purposed yet. Do you think she is giving me a hard time out of jealousy?

I need advise please help. I put my foot down and told them it's my wedding my decision, am I being a bridezilla? Please help, I have been stressing over this shoe issue for the past two months and have reached the point where I want to pull my hair out!

I have wide feet. I know what your cousin is going through. SOme of the dyeable shoes are hard to fit people with wide feet. I had trouble today trying shoes on but I did find on. Remember, they should have shoes that will be comfortable for them

Hmmm. I dont know, that is a hard situation. IMO shoes are really hard to coodinate because everyone will not be comfortable. Maybe it is worth it just to give them a color and say 'sandal' or ' square toe' instead of making everyone wear the same thing???

I know I personally woulndt be thrilled with someone else picking out my shoes, but then again your cousin DID go with you and approve them.

It seems like three of the girls are having a problem with the shoe...not just the cousin. I told my BMs to pick their own shoes and have them dyed....I wouldn't want someone else picking my shoes for me. If I'm going to be dancing all night I want to be comfortable

This is the one thing you need to let go of

Shoes are VERY VERY VERY hard to please everyone esp. if she has wide feet like me
as long as she gets the same color - then you shouldnt feel like its uncoordinated

please reconsider - and maybe let her win this one little thing

I dont think its because of the jealousy either
but if she does anything else, then i woudl kick her out. You dont really want someone who admittely is jealous of your happy day to be one of the ones standing up for you - do you??

Just tell them the general style.. say no sandsla if you want. I think they will be happy with the compromise.
