I need to vent: My own BM movie in the works!
Sorry for this long rant in advance!
So whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy is there always one BM that is a headache?!!!
What makes it even worse is that the problem child in my FH sister. She had a failed at planning her wedding so there has been alot of jealous issues that we are planning ours around the same time as her procrastinating to plan her destination wedding...which ended up in a trip to city hall next month and perhaps a small dinner if that.
So now her inability to cope with us having an acutal wedding is stressing me out and causing me to not be excited about my wedding, which should not be! I gave her the option in the beginning to not be a BM due to her wedding and her wanting to have a baby in the near future. I told her I understand if it's not in your budget due to ur life events, and I was told by my FH it was not an option its his sis, and by her I was not working with her.
She is also a baker....so she insited on being in the wedding and baking a the cake. She has been complaining from the beginning she would NOT pay over $100 for a dress which I told her it would be..but not much over. Then it went to I cant make the cake and be in the wedding (after I already said it would be a challenge), then we said ok don't make the cake just be in the wedding. Now it's she has NOOOO money to help with anything at all. She even had nerve to ask the other BM to pay her $50 for the supplies to make the cake and she would contribute her expertise and creativity! I would rather buy a waldbaums cake for my shower then give her money to make it. FH wants to kick her out...but I said you cant. If she bows out that is different. There are emails being thrown back n forth among BM, and high annoyance levels and bits n pieces r coming back to me. Ughhhhh. It is time for a sit down to go over how I feel from A to Z.
FYI I helped her plan her ENTIRE engagment party. Found her the hall, person for hair and makeup, photographer, centerpiece ideas...spent time looking up resorts and pricing for destination weddings, and was expected to pay damn near $2000 for her destination wedding...and she can not contribute $50?!!!![]()
