I think it was actually Middle Country school district.

I think you need some hugs...

I know its frustrating. WHen we were looking for our house, we went every weekend, both days to what seemed like a million houses (probably about 80 in reality)
I spent all my time on mlsli and other realty sites.
(We put the wedding planning on hold while we were looking for a house)

Long story short, we got a place after about a month and a half of searching and two unaccepted bids on other homes.

I know it ***** when you are in the midst of it but remember this is a happy 'problem', you guys are looking for a HOUSE and will get one sooner rather than later!!!!!!

Try and keep your positivity!!!!

Don't let this discourage you, I know it's hard but it will be so worth it in the end!!!

Try looking at homes where the seller has some motivation to get out, esp those who've been on the market for a few months.

I know how frustrating it is but don't worry. You eventually will find something. We have been looking for about 8 months and still haven't found what we really like. We are a little picky but I really don't just want to settle. People are also shooting for the stars with the prices. They need to come back down to reality. There is a house that I liked in Shirley and they want 409,000. IN SHIRLEY!!!!!! Longwood schools aren't that bad though. My dad lives out there and both my sisters graduated from there and they really liked the school. They told me there was a lot of good programs and teachers.

There were 2 other houses that we almost bought but both sellers were jerks and trying to sell the house for more money behind our backs after they accepted our offers and we even paid $500 to have inspectors come in.

awww, besty i'm sorry don't give up hope... maybe it's all for a reason... maybe the perfect house for you guys is out there, still waiting to be found good luck!

last time i went house-hunting, it took about 7 months. i thought i was going to die!
