I need to write my TY cards and I need some help...

I have no idea what to write, and I need some help. Can someone give me some ideas on how to start them. Of course I have the general idea, but I don't want it to sound stupid.

Our general thank you was somthing like this:

Dear Bubba,

Thank you so much for your generous gift and for spending such a special day with us. It would not have been the same with out you -- we hope you had fun!

then depending on who it was i would add something more personal to it...
