I need your advice on hotels

I blocked rooms at the Hampton Inn (exit 63) and was very excited because they have a free shuttle bus for guests to and from the wedding reception. They do not have a restaurant/bar there and that kinda bothered me. But I was okay. I have a huge time gap between my ceremony (2:30) and cocktail hour (7:00) and out of town guests have been saying they will just go to the bar at the hotel. Well there isn't one there. The Radisson across the street does have bar and the rooms are nicer and cheaper BUT they don't shuttle. What should I do? Should I block at the Radisson and pay for shuttle, forget the shuttle, or stay with the Hampton Inn?

That's a tough one, I'm going to have the same problem...same Hotels as a matter of fact. To tell you the truth I would just keep with the Hampton Inn. There's Apple Bee's across the street and Fridays next door if they want to have a few drinks.

I was thinking that too about Applebees and stuff, but after seeing the Radisson it is so much nicer looking inside.

My friend had out of town guest stay at the Hampton Inn after her wedding. She said that they loved it and said everything was SO nice. I have not checked out the Radisson yet but I'm sure it's really nice. In the long run I think the free shuttle will be worth it. Are you staying in any of those hotels??

I agree.. you can always provide directions to other places ie applebees and what not if they want to go to a bar in your OOT bags..... just a thought...

I understand your dilemma though... I hope this helps!!!
