I Need Your Help.....

So as most of you, maybe all of you know, my FMIL passed away suddenly on December 10, 2007....
Thank you all for the prayers you sent my way !!!!
It helped me get through one of the toughest times while planning our wedding....
I have a question and I need help.....
Now that FMIL is no longer with us, I do not know who will light the unity candle with my mom....
Can someone make suggestions?
Does it have to be someone from my family and someone from his?
I need help....Hopefully you ladies can help me.....

Does FH have a grandmother or a very close aunt? Maybe they can light the candle.

No, unfortunately he doesn't have any grandparents still living....He isn't close with his extended family at all.....=(

that's what I was thinking also. Does it have to be a woman, if not then a male relative could work too...

....my prayers are still with you and your FH's family in this difficult time

whoever FH feels close enough to should be the person. maybe a god parents, aunt, uncle, a sibling.

you could always have his candle pre-lite as a symbol that his mom is always there.
