I NEED YOUR HELP! CREATIVE IDEAS ON NOT TO BURN YOUR GUESTS!!
Does anyone know of a way where I can use votive candles as placecards without burning my guests?? I would really like to use them, but my reception hall advise not to. She didn't say 'no' but I just need to think of an idea so that my guests won't burn or drop them due to the heat???
ANY CREATIVE IDEAS?? Please Help!!!

why don't you have a seating chart, and then have the votive as a favor at the seat, not as a place card that they have to carry

Yes - you use votive holders but tealight candles.

Yup - I just was going to say that too. You could have a beach theme and fill it with sand too - with the tea light on top

someone on the board a couple of days ago said she is using those light up necklaces (the ones that like a dj will give out), the small version, and putting them inside the candle. I think that is a great idea

Not very creative, but........don't light them. Who says they need to be lit?

That's what I ended up doing, b/c the vellum didn't stick to my votive jars & I had 175 candles
