I need your help ladiess

My Fh will be 30 (yikes) in 2 weeks...

We're both Greek and our Easter is April 27..and I'm cooking for his family and mine that day.

His bday is the 29th.(tuesday)

and on May 3rd we're going on a cruise.

I have no idea where to take him for his bday.. I was thinking of taking him out on the 28th......or should i take him out on his actual bday? any1 know any fun spanish restaurants?
im stumped!

I heard about this place in the city Dos Caminos that is a fun Mexican resturant. If you dont wanna go to the city you can go to Tequila Sunrise on Bell Blvd in bayside,
I think you should go on his real bday if you guys can go early or the 28th, whichever day is better for you guys to enjoy your night,

Ill look up dos caminos. we live 2 min from tequilla sunrise, only impressive thing there is the guacamole lol

I know this sounds suppper gay but we give eachother 'easter baskets'every year. this yr we arent buying eachother actual easter baskets cuz its clutter we dont need but we give eachother gifts..
I was thinking since last vacation he had to slam his suitcase on the pavement to get it open.. i shoudl get him a nice suitcase and fill it with stuff for his bday/easter?


i keep buying him clothes and give them to him as soon as i come home.. im an idiot. i shouldve saved everything for his bday.

And I think the easter basket idea is so nice, we're never too old for old traditions.
I think a suitcase is a perfect idea especially since your going away. I do the same with gifts, I cant hold them a secret for too long lol so dont worry your not alone

lol! im a bish tho. I bought him 2 d&g shirts las tmonth..he tried them on, they fit and i took them rightttttt back. 'you're not wearing them until our cruise' he probably forgot about them lol

i personally love cabana it is cuban food. Theres also another place in the meat packing district called son cubano. Beautiful place, very lively and fun but i think the food is alot better at cabana. Also everybody raves about victors cafe

Another amazing place is plataforma. Its a brazilian place on 49th between 9th and 10th. The place inside looks great, they have a live band and the food is amazing. They have a huge buffet in the middle and then what they do is you have a round coaster in front of you, one side is red the other is green. They keep coming around to your table with so many different meats, if you want more meat you leave it on green, if you want to stop you put it on red. Its one price too, its a fixed price.

Also i know its not spanish but ill make another suggestion. I took fh to buddakan for his birthday and seriously the best restaurant i have been to in a long time. We seriously kept saying how delicious it was with every bite. The inside is gorgeous, and i keep craving it since. Its similar food to tao, and tao has been Fh's favorite restaurant for years and when we went to buddakan he said its better. Its also in the meat packing district, Here is the site:

another cool place is ninja. You take the elevator down to the lower level and you walk through a bridge and go through some ninja made town. Everyone gets their own room, so its pretty cool. They do alot of cool things with their food, even have waiters who bring out a certain appetizer and theyre magicians and the dessert is flambe but they dont use matches or anything to light it, its crazy. There are other surprises too but wont say bc it should be a surprise when you get there. The food is good but wouldnt say oh wow amazing, is a bit pricey and smaller portions. Its more for the atmosphere but dont get me wrong its good food but i think buddakan is way better

thank you for all your help!! Fh has been on the phone with sony since 10 am trying to fix my brand new camcorder. Sony tech support suckssssss. I think im going to take him out 2-3 times for his bday and try all those places. He deserves it. I dont knwo how he can stay so calm on the phone. I wouldve been screaming 4 hrs ago!
