I need your opinion - The Pro's

I have booked The Pro's for my video, dj and photography we paid a deposit for the 3 services of like $600. Mostly because their prices were very reasonable, i think it was all coming out to like $3800. I just saw very bad reviews on them at knot.com. I'm freaking out right now.... We looked before we booked then and they seemed good. We met with them at a showcase they had and it all sounded great. Things said about them ranged from not following the preiously arranged instructions on the songs, or pictures, the dj not motivating the crowd, the photographer being rude or incompetent and the video looking cheesy, unprofessional and having the wrong wedding information in the introduction.

Has any1 used them? I want to cancel. Should I? We'll probably loose the deposit, but i think i rather have the peace of mind. Now, my other problem is finding people in my budget. Who did u guys use? Thank you for letting me vent!

Duet has some really good packages for photo and video and for the DJ I would suggest Ralph from Hi-Energy. I have been to 2 weddings he did and I think he is great. In a couple of months I am going to go book him.

Ask them for some references of past brides. Ask for them from a range of time periods...like 1 yr ago, 6 months ago, etc. There are other options if you feel unsure about their competency. We are here for you and we can help!!

Honestly I have not heard good things about them.

It is one of those you get what you pay for situations.
