and most of you seem to be on a friendly basis with yours! I booked it last September for this September and I have only spoken to the manager once to ask what nearby hotels she recommends....is this weird?

I didn't really talk to mine either - booked last June for this September. However, I went in for my tasting last Sunday and I felt sooo relieved. There was no reason to talk to them b/c they were on top of everything without my asking. I went in with my list of things I wanted done, questions etc and the made me sooo at ease!

Have you gone for your tasting yet? I bet when you do it will make you feel much better.

BUt you can give them a call in the mentime if you have any concerns or requests etc. Thats why you're paying them!

I don't really talk to them too much either. We booked in January, wedding is not until next sept '04. I only went their to ask questions rather than waiting

My wedding is one year away...have not really been in contact on a regular basis with the place...

I think it is ok as long as your firm up the details as it gets closer.

It also depends upon how accomodating the managers are. With the money they charge, most halls should be more than accomodating to you. My wedding is not until Sept of 2004, but the banquet manager made it very clear in the beginning to call with any question.

Future, who are you talking about at Coral House- your BM or the owner?

I have spoken to Linda many times, I have visited a handful of times- I am a nut!!!!

I did want to meet with the owner - that I am still working on.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I talk to mine whenever I have a question which is usually all the time because I always see something I like and want to know if I can do it.

Or the one time I had to call the hall because the other bride wanted to do something, but didnt want to call because they already thinks she's crazy.

I talk to mine every time we go in to make a payment, just to touch base with them. ( a few times a year)

I talk to mine all the time, but I am completely neurotic about my wedding & how we are using her space.....plus she is really cool & I always go & drop my $$$$ off in person

I did not start having a lot of contact with mine until about a month or two before my wedding.

I booked my hall almost a year and a half ahead of time - I really didn't start talking to them until a few months before the wedding to schedule appointments. I wouldn't worry about it too much -
