I ordered my dress and matching veil last August. They both arrived in January, but the veil was the wrong color (yellow & gold) while my dress is diamond white with silver accents, the same color as the veil. The salon blamed it on the designer saying they packed the wrong veil.
In March another veil arrives and it is also gold and yellow. So I call the designer directly and they say the salon was ordering the wrong color, but the salon says they have the right order number and the designer is making a mistake. I tell the designer that the right veil should be diamond white and silver.
They say no problem we will send you the veil you ordered, but you won’t receive it until end of May. In any case, today is June 5th and I still don’t have the veil. I have called both the salon and the designer and no one has returned my calls.
I live in LA and I am flying back to NY this weekend to get ready for the wedding and even though I still have 4 days to get the veil, I am freaking out.
What would you do?

Re: I never thought a veil could make me crazy
This is not fair to you! The last thing you need so close to the wedding is to worry about a veil!! Honestly I would call the salon and demand they send something within two business days or else credit you back and go find another place where they might have something off the rack? Maybe Phyllis has some you could buy when you are in NY or other bridal salons? I would start calling to see if you can find a replacement just in case.

Call and send a fax or letter and give them a deadline and tell them that if it is past that deadline, you will have no choice but to find soemthing else and seek a refund. Tell them that you plan to call the BBB and that you need your veil regardless of whether they want to pass blame to someone else.
