So I have been gowing my hair out for 2 years & it is finally at a decent length. I went for a hair trial last night & they had such a hard time doing anything with it because it is so thin. I was there for almost 3 hours & still hated it when I left. If I get extensions or something-how much does that usually cost?

Not much...you dont have to get the permanent extensions, just the temp ones like Chris got for her wedding...you have a nicely shaped face so I say go for an updo, and when they attach the extensions to the back, it'll give the bun/arrangements a lot of fullnes...

That is what I want-a really full updo, but it just wasn't happening last night.

My girl used extensions in my hair, but she just pinned them to my hair. They worked well and stayed all night. That should help your thin hair issue. Any good hairdresser should know how to do this. Good luck

I am using clip in extensions - just for fuller not longer hair. The person I am using charges $60 for the extensions (on top of the normal hair charge)

that's what i did and it rocked. you can get them anywhere and it matche your hair. i bought the pack for like 20 bucks!

I had hair extensions for my trial and will use them for the wedding. I have really really thin baby hair. The extensions were not the right color at my trial but you can check what my updo is in my album.

Sorry to hear that!! I have the same problem with my hair being thin so I got extensions from this place...
check it out (same place Jessica Simpson gets her extensions)
i think they are like $40 a piece or something....it was on someones price list...i dont remember who...

Mine stayed all evening after my trial. I used the same ones from wigs.com - put on pieces human hair extensions, but they're expensive. I'm having another trial tonight with extensions, so I'll post pics!

My hair is thin b/c my hair is Japanese Straightening treated...so I got extensions, which i purchased for $20 at a beauty supply store, and Mia attached wig clips to them, made my hair half-up, half-down, and it was comfortable, and stayed in all night.

I am having the half up hair do and curls. It lasted for hours. My hair does not usually hold curls for more than 20 minutes. She also used a lot of hairspray and teasing.

my hair is really thin too-- im using sarah rock for my hair and she put my hair in an updo- curling it with a curling iron-- when i showed my friends pictures they all thought it was extensions-- a good hair person can do wonders with the hair you have
