there are no video games in our house now.....and i keep telling FH that there never will be video games in this house.......i feel for ya gina.....hide the controls on him!

I feel your pain. FH seems to not be capable of conversating while playing x-box, I can be be speaking to him about the most important thing in the world and he will have no recollection of what I said. He is obsessed with stupid Call of Duty...I can't stand to watch it anymore.![]()

thankfully I can't relate, but my poor friend actually ended up separated from her husband after only 4 months of marriage because he was addicted to video games. He is now in an AA like program for video games.

with my FH its nintendo DS and some mario game! i tried to get involved in it, but when i was learning, he kept taking it away from me and telling me that hell do it for me.....soooooo i gave up!
he better give me the TV at 10 to watch the VS show !!! I told him I cant watch it on our shittty TV in the bedroom...

Okay, so I've learned to live with the xbox.... see this is what you do.... he plays it ALL OF THE TIME so I mostly let him play, dont complain, and dont b*tch.... but when I want to watch something and watch my daily shows, he'll watch it with me and turns the stupid thing off.... and then when my stuff is over, he goes back to playing- so its like we've learned to live with it.... he gets to play without me complaining and I get to watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it, if I dont b*tch. It works pretty well... like today for ex: he played for a while.... and guess who just watched 2 HOURS of the Christmas thing on NBC? YESSSSS ladies, he watched the WHOLE thing with me.... and now hes back to playing- so we are both happy!! lol![]()
