Congratulations! Jersey isn't too far for me (I grew up in NJ and my family still lives there). I had no idea there was no tax. Interesting.

Sales tax in NJ is ^ % on all items except necessities such as store bought food (not restaurtants), clothing, What I meant is the store writes the price with the tax on the tag. So it wasn't like the ticket said 832 plus tax.
