Phyllis placed the order with Maggie Sottero on 7/29....
estimated ship date is 3/31/07! I won't see it til MAY!!!
Isn't that a ridiculously long time for a maggie sottero?!
CRAZY UPDATE:
I just got THE CALL - my dress IS IN!!!! I'm feeling so Bridezilla right now - I can't even tell you

It wasn't my dress. The sample came in, and it was tagged as my order, when it fact it was just the sample.

Phyllis called Maggie Sottero and then called me back...
They haven't made my dress.
They're starting it NOW, and rushing it, and its expected to ship......get this.....APRIL 30TH
I was mad about March, now its APRIL?!?!
They're getting a NICE LONG LETTER FROM ME

im getting a maggie dress too. i was told ill get it 7-8 months. apparently the material they use for the dress takes a long time to make. but 10 months seems like a long time. how long did they tell u it would take?

I ordered mine on March 29. The order was placed on April 1 and I still don't have my dress. I was told it was shipping on Dec. 29. So it took 9 months to make my dress.

I've been told that Maggie Sottero (like other designers) fill dress orders based on wedding dates so if I ordered it same date as you did, but my wedding was 2 months before yours, mine would be made first.
Don't worry, at least you'll have it with way more than enough time for your wedding!
I ordered a Maggie in November and they told me it won't be arriving until 2 months before my wedding (September!) That is a total of 8 months! I am a BIT panicked!

I heard that too. Phyllis told Maggie that my wedding was the beginning of September....(Its actually late November)
When I talked to Phyllis today, she WASN'T happy about that ship date- she is calling them to get it moved up.

My Maggie took about 6 months to come in.. maybe less! But of course it was the wrong size so now they had to do a rush order.. it better not take that long to come in!

Hey Nicole Yikes that does seem rather long. Did they give a reason why? Ahh I see you said it was a new Maggie. I think that would account for the added waiting time.
I would be itching like a little bugger till then. Well they say good things are worth the wait.

That makes me mad... I ordered my Maggie in Nov and was told end of Feb early March... it better be here cause I never even seen 'the' dress yet. Thank God I have a transferrable deposit but still I don't want to have crunch time happen w looking for a dress. .... GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
