I ordered my veil!!!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!

For some reason, picking out my veil was the number one thing I was excited about for the wedding. Seriously - I was more excited about this than I was about picking out my gown.

I don't have pics (forgot the camera, duh!), but I ordered a three-tier, cathedral length veil. It's very simple. In fact, the cathedral length tier is plain. The fingertip length and elbow length tiers are basically plain, but with tiny crystals scattered throughout (very few) that just give it that little extra sparkle it needs. I cannot wait to wear it - it's going to look so pretty and dramatic in the pictures and it just goes so well with the gown - not overdone at all.

So, I'm sorry I have no pictures, but I was just so excited I had to post!

FYI - I found and ordered my veil through Lillettes, where I ordered my gown (and BM dresses). They've been nothing but great to us all so far. Stephanie (who is no longer with them ) helped me pick out my gown. I was so upset to learn she wasn't there anymore, but Pat helped us today -- and she was awesome, too. Not pushy at all, with very good ideas and very helpful!

I can't wait to try it on again!!!

Did they say how long it takes for the veil to come in?

I think only a few weeks. The woman said the veils come in pretty quickly. I'm sure it will be in before my dress comes, which should be June.

congrats Kara!! I can't wait for pics when you have them!! and OMG I can't believe Stephanie left!!! I didn't order my dress from Lillette's.....but Stephanie is the one who found my dress for me....I didn't like it at all on the hanger, I thought she was crazy but I figured I would entertain her and just put it on....who knew that would end up being what I'd order!!! So sorry to hear she left!

That's so funny - the exact same thing happened to me. She picked it out for me and I didn't like it on the hanger, but I loved it on!

She was amazing. I'm not sure where she went, but I miss her!

The funny thing, though, is that she just grabbed a veil for me to try on with my dress, one she thought would look nice after I had chosen the dress. That veil is the top part of mine. I just added a cathedral layer. So I still feel like Steph helped out.

awww that's sweet, she still played a part in ordering your veil! she had also picked some nice veils for me that would go with the dress, but since I didn't order at Lillette's I'd feel funny going in and playing with their veils!! lol
