WEDDING GOWN!!!! I'm still in shock actually! My sister, mother and two of my sister's friends went to bridal reflections in carle place to look for bridesmaid gowns for my sister's wedding.
I had ABSOLUTELY no intention of even looking for dresses mind you! But we finished looking at the brides maid gowns and then before we walked out my mother walked over to the bridal section and started thumbing through some of the dresses so I went over and started looking at them too. Before I knew it I was trying on bridal gowns for the very first time and after trying on three dresses I found THE ONE! It's from the spring 2007 Amalia Carrara collection. It's soooo beautiful and while I don't have a picture to upload right now I promise to upload once I get the pictures off my sister's phone!

I would definitely recommend Dana, I believe that's the name of the bridal attendant who helped me. It was just such like a freak moment cause it was like there was no other bride in the 'bride's' side of the store and it just so happend that there was someone to help me, and I was able to like promenade down both of the 'aisles' they have in my gown. It was SUCH a great experience. I can't wait to go and see it again when I show my aunts and FMIL! lol Like I said pic's will come as soon as I can get my sister to do em!

Well since I haven't posted a pic yet I'll at least give a description. It's a 100% silk ballgown in diamond white, strapless (which I thought would never look good on me) and the top has like a little scoop right in the middle. There is a lot of embroidery which is going to be in white with silver accents and beading.
It has a lot of intircate work on it on both the bodice and the the skirt. The embroidery has like kinda like vague heart shaped scrolling patter to it which follows around the bottom of the gown and onto the train which is semi-cathedral length and they're going to do a french bustle with like 12 or 14 points which made me cry when they pinned it up to show me what it would look like.
lol It probably sounds horrible but it's PERFECT for me!!!!

if i wasnt waiting for italy - i would have went after i got off the phone with you! lol
as you know it is down btw my two final dress choices. . . so i just have to go somewhere and try each of them on like 430 times and then i can decide!

Thanks for all the congrats girls! I have bad news though. FH told me he periodically goes on the site and reads stuff so now I'm afraid he's going to see it!!!
