i saw this on the news today...they were saying how it was controversial...i think its an awesome way to bring attention to breast cancer

I think its a little over the top and didn't really like it but who cares? People make such a big deal over nonsense these days you can't please everyone...

I personally found that distasteful and gratiutious. I am appalled that they think that is something that is going to make women 'aware.' I know its 2009 and our standards of acceptability are hugely diminished, but honestly, that was a waste of useful resources when they could have put out a much more tasteful PSA.

And you ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL know that I am not a prude by any means But I call 'em like I see 'em and I thought that was in poor taste.

ETA: I wasn't offended in any way, it did not harm my sensibilities or cause irreparable damage However, I just don't think this is an effective and more importantly, APPROPRIATE, way to communicate their idea. Yes, a 20-something audience will not be offended, but 20-somethings are NOT the only audience; kids, grandparents, parents, teens will all be privy.

ok as a single person, no it does not offend me. Who am I to judge? I posed nude for breast cancer (ironically).

As a future StepMOther of 11 year old girls..it shows that the girl with the biggest Boobs gets the most attention. These girls are already saying they are fat after watching TV (and they are not!).

I think they could of done it a wee bit different.

I think it was a good commerical... even as a woman, it caught my interest so i def see how it can reach out to the men... distasteful or not, it did its job... attracting attention.... and the news announcer is right.... pamplet's with 60 yr old, gray haired women as spokesmodels has a better chance of getting tossed to the curb....

ETA: Agree with pp that having them bounce around was prob stepping a bit over the line... but then again- would it have caught as much attention if they were standing still? lol

I really think that people need to be aware,, and the reporter is right- people aren't always going to watch or look at an ad about 60 year old woman.


But on a side note- Her boobs really moved wierd to me.
