If you have an i-pod, is i-tunes the only place you can download music from? Or can you use any music site?

Re: i-pod user question
When you go on iTunes you can have ti search for any music on your computer and add it to the library. I forgot how I did it, but it was pretty easy.
ETA: To clarify you have to use the iTunes software to put music on your iPod, but you don't need to download the music on the iTunes service

Re: i-pod user question
if you are putting music from a cd, put cd in player - click on itunes to play and import the cd (or whichever songs you want) to itunes. once its done, you'll see the apple apprear. to buy music from itunes, just find the song you wnat and click 'buy song.' you have to have an account first and it automatically uploads into your ipod once you connect ipod to computer. i used napster once for songs and i just made a cd and did it that way - it was easier

Re: i-pod user question
Yep I love my iPod.
I don't think you need to burn a CD and then import it. The iTunes software can search for and import all the MP3's on your computer. I don't realy remeber how, but I did it when i first got ym iPod and it was pretty easy.
