Is a swiss army knife a bad GM gift? Our GM's are doing virtually nothing for FH besides renting a tux and posing for pics. They have all been GM's a bunch of times and already have receievd watches, lighters, flasks...etc. So we were thinking of swiss army knives and cigars, and maybe a bottle of liquor.
What say you?
TIA!

I think that sounds fine. Guys tend to care less about the gifts then girls do.

FH once got visa gift cards... That was the most useful GM gift IMO, but since they aren't doing ANYTHING for your FH, swiss army knife is more than enough.

We got them swiss wallets and they loved them. They are a combination of money clip and card holder.
FH got a Swiss Army knife as a GM gift once... he said it was a practical gift which he appreciated,

Guys would prob love it, but I personally do not give knives as gifts because of superstition (silly, I know)

Same here! I never give knives as any type of gift because I was told that giving a knife to a friend 'cuts' the friendship. The only way to prevent that from happening is to have that friend accept the knife and then give you a coin in return to make sure the superstition doesn't come true... Yea it may sound silly, but why tempt it?

I think it is a practical gift for a guy. I was just in a store that was selling them with a coworker (male) and he said that is the best gift to get a guy! He didn't want to leave the store! LOL
