Where do you guys think I can go to find Bm's dresses that have samples in all different sizes... I went to Renates in Lindenhurst the other day and most of their sizes were 10-12 which is fine for most of my bp except two girls one is a size 14 and one is a size 16...how can you tell if a dress is gonna look good on someone if they cant even put it on and zip it.... anyone have suggestions of a store that carries larger sizes????

David's Bridal carries samples in a bunch of different sizes. Also Bridal Elagance... when we went there we noticed the sizes were larger than normal sample dress sizes.
It's tough.... almost everywhere you go the samples are like a size 10

Really they only carry a 10-12? Grrrrr I am a 14 too and wanted to look there for my own dress and bm dresses. Even with loosing weight I am not sure if i can get into a 10 for sometime.
One of my girls is a size 4 and the other I think is a 14-16. I would find the dress in the size needed have them try it on and then order ti where ever you want. I wouldn't order it blindly because it may look bad on a heavier girt.

Not sure if they make larger sized samples... I've been to three different bridal salons, and all of the sample dresses were sized 10-14. (Keep in mnd that these dresses run really small. I'm a size 4 or 6 normally, but for my friend's wedding, my BM dress was a 10!) The salespeople will do all sorts of creative things with clips to hold the dress up.

I haven't gone shopping yet, so I'm not sure! I am going Tuesday night to Renate's. How were they? I'm pretty excited about trying on my dream dress....who knows if it'll look nice once it's on tho!

hmmn, good question , I'm going back to my shop (I'm getting all my dresses from Robin at Moonlight Couture) next week to select the styes for my girls, I'll check w/ Robin next Sunday... I have some in my BP that wear larger sizes so this is a great

i dont think your going to be able to find any... when i spoke to someone i think it was at ranetes in lindy that said the companys send samples (they are made just for samples and its one size only!) most companys send the same size its hard to find something smaller or larger. i would call around but i think were all TSOL

thanks ladies... i feel so bad asking my size 16 bridesmaid to try to squeze into a 10 while a woman clips at her lol...
