How did you make the flowers? Did you use one of those foam rings? The reason I ask is I am also doing hurricane c-pieces and was considering putting flowers around it.

yes, we got 12 inch green styrofoam wreaths and metal floral picks and put the flowers in the wreath and then filled in w/ ivy and greenery from the silk flowers. Then we finished it off w/ a blue ribbon. I think they're beautiful (the idea) and it's great because ppl can take them home and hang them on a wall after the wedding if they want to- they aren't dead a week later! JMO....

they're really not that hard to do. My FMIL and I are making all of them. She bought a floral pick machine and refills at Michaels and it really makes things easier- you aren't trying to stick the stems into the styrofoam which can take FOREVER!!!
