I quit!

I quit!

I really have no interest in the wedding anymore. I can't seek to get excited at all. Thinking of everything that has to be done I just want to quit the planning and just go with what we have.
Oh man!

noooo don't quit! It definitely is stressful and you are not alone! If you need to, take a breather, think about something else for a few days, get some pampering like a massage or something and then come back fresh-faced and ready to go! We are here to help! If its in your budget maybe think of using partial planning services? Many of the planners I met with offered reasonable partial planning and it can definitely take the burden off of you! Its ok and normal to feel discouraged; just remember this is YOUR special day and its ok to take time to yourself to make yourself feel good!! We're here for you!!!

What else do you need to do??

Take a little break maybe, and then go back and finish your list.

Hmm..everything.

Mail out invites
Finish BBB registry
Tuxes (going next week, we only need 3 so store said we had time)
Order favors
Order candles
Decorate candles
Choose final menu
Choose cake
Need gifts

And things I know I need but can't think of.

bm/gm gifts? maybe research them online today and see what interests you! do you have any idea of what you want to get them?

how about going for a menu tasting so you'll be excited for the rh?

You are so close. Don't quit now. Like the PPs said, take a little step back and have a bit of a break. Once you get closer the excitement of the day will come back and you'll get a 2nd wind. Just think of how amazing your day is going to be!

Well for the Best Man gift, FH is picking that out.
I only have 2 BM.
MOH: DOJ, and pendant necklace and her wedding shoes. I promised her even before we were engaged.
BM (FSD): DOJ, Coach wristlet, not sure what else?

We did the tasting awhile back.

Believe it or not, talking about it has actually made me feel a little better. Thanks!

Re: I quit!

A friend of mine felt the same way you do. She was so fed up with all the B/S from everyone, not to mention the stress of putting a wedding together. They put the kabosh on it all, went to Vegas, got hiched, had a blast for a week, came home, & started their new life together. Good for them! I'm glad they are happy!

Re: I quit!

dont quit. you seem like you have a good list and you can get things accomplished. just make decisions and dont dwell over every little thing. my mom wouldnt let me do that and it helped a lot.

the tuxs we went 3 weeks before our wedding.
what were you thinking for favors?

Re: I quit!

You just need to take a few days off of wedding planning to re energize. Weddings are stressful, but you need to keep time for yourself. Take a weekend off and relax and then start on Monday.

On Monday write your to do list and then identify one thing you could do a day to not feel so overwhelmed.

Hope this helps .

Take a little break and then you'll probably want to get back to it.

Dont give up! Take a few days off from wedding planning, then go back to it. It can get so stressful.
