I don't have programs made for the church...do I really have to have them?? Anyone not have them??

lots of people don't - I chose to have them since my family is Jewish and my FH is Catholic and mine just lays out what the different traditions mean... I think you are ok anyway - they are a luxury - not a necessity :)

we did them so everyone could follow along o what was going on since we did the full mass. i got a really cheap DIY kit from Michaels and did them in one day. Less than $25

To be honest I have been to weddings with them and without them and it doesn't make a difference for me personally as a guest. However, if you have time it would be nice to make but I wouldn't go crazy about it.

I went to a wedding a couple weeks after my wedding and as people were walking down the aisle, you heard whispers going around the church of 'Who's that?' 'Is that a friend or the cousin?'

The nosey people were more concerned with who was walking down and doing readings than watching the bride. It got annoying, but after listenint to the whispers echo throughout the church, I'm glad I did mine!

I bought them from Michael's and printed them myself, although in retrospect, I'm sure I could have brought them to Staples to get printed. It wasn't anything crazy, but it was something!

I wouldn't worry about it at this point! You need to relax and enjoy this upcoming week. It's not a big deal at all not having them.

I didn't...I had every intention to do so and then I got last minute F it syndrome. No one noticed, no one cared. It doesn't take a brain scientist to follow..no one will remember your reading except MAYBE you

I was thinking about it, but honestly, I don't think they're worth the $$ or effort. I've been to plenty wedding that didn't have it and it was just fine.
