I REALLY F-EN HATE MY SKIN!

I just posted in another thread that I have 2 huge cystic pimples on my cheek. I called the dermotologist for cortisone shots and of course they are completely booked.

Does anyone know anything to do for these mutha fuuckers they are disgusting and really hurt and take forever to go away

You are not the only one. My face is sooo horrible right now. I have bumps on my face, they are not visible bec I have them covered but I cant stand it. I wish I had clear skin. I have used everything under the book!!!!!!! At one point I was using listerine and that helped my faced but I stopped , I should start again

I am sitting here with a cotton ball filled with rubbing alcohol! Its making the swelling go down... but I am just soooo sick of it! I think the wedding stress maybe doing it. And FMIL pissed me off this weekend, telling me not to tan blah blah blah... take this vitamin, its something your eating... I'm like look lady, f off... I have bad skin, its none of the above! I hate it when people ask me why it's happening, like I'm making it happen! lol.. yeah, I like acne, don't you know?

Urgh... thats what I have! Rubbing alcohol helps, but doesn't cure... only the damn shots... and yes, my derm is booked also! I have an appt the 24th and I just can't wait that long!

Sephora has this sulfur acne spot treatment cream, its by MDskincare...it helps to bring them down alot. Sometimes when i wake up the next day it will be gone well at least the inflammation.

Hot compress works bringing it down and bringing the head to the surface. Or if you can make an appointment to get a cortizone shot.

Since i went for the facial last month and will be going every 4 weeks, its not regular facials its specifically for bad skin, my skin has been ok...the first 2-3 weeks after it looked better than it ever has and not just that i didnt get breakouts but my skin in general...well recently i was a bit careless, fell asleep a few times with make up on not many times but still and i kept catching myself with my hands on my face or when talking on the cell it was up against my face, that is the biggest problem with pimples on the cheek. But even with being a little careless it wasn't bad, got 2 of them and continued doing my regimen and the mdskincare helped. But i do have to make another appointment soon bc its almost 4 weeks

Does alcohol really work??? I used a Bath and Body works antibacterial (fig and brown sugar) foam for the hands to wash my face, hahaah.

Im also using this oxy something, my sis got it for me with 10% benzoyl something in it. Its like I gave myself a chem peel. It hurted sooo bad.

Iam also very lazy to take care of my face but I try. When I go out I cover it very well but when I have no make up on

Yup... good old fashion rubbing alcohol will definitely bring down the swelling. But be careful, cause I left the cotton ball on it too long once, and I actually burned my skin, but hey, the pimple was gone lol.

I bought that Eubos stuff that SoVic recommended and it helped a lot.

So did a combo of Retin A and Duac from my derm. Like a lot of girls on hear warned me, it dried the living h e l l out of my face for the first week and I almost gave up. But,, I think your face adjusts to it, because eventaully that all stopped and now my skin is really looking better than it has in a long time.

I also had a glycolic peel, I'm sure that helped too.

I wonder if it's the weather or if it's the post-Hallween chocolate. My skin is A TOTAL MESS!

I swear by Persagel though. That stuff is amazing!

I too have cystic acne I've avoided accutane since I'm scard of some of the side effects. I used to get injections from my dermo. I'm terrifed of needles and it was fine. A facial hurts more My FMIL got me Murad for Channukah last year and my skin really improved!!! She ordered it so another supply comes every month. It's great I'm def. gonna renew the subscrition. You should try it!

Thanks for the advice I'm gonna check that out asap if I can't get a derm appt. At this point I can't wait to get on Accutane, I don't care if I self destruct, atleast my skin will be pretty doing it.

yeah it definitely helps in the meantime before you go to a dermatologist...what i do is when i get home from work ill wash my face and put the mdskincare cream on my face and leave it on all night to give it more time to work, and before ill go to bed i might just put only a little bit more on the spot
