Had the car at the dealership for 2 days..with a huge laundry list of things that are wrong with it..NOT ONE WAS FIXED!!
Interior lights..still not working
Trunk clip...still not replaced
Door open light..still on ALL THE TIME
And my trunk does not lock!! But they are supposedly waiting for a part for that but ahve no idea when that will be in...just great!!

I'm so sorry! Which dealership was this? I've always found the service to be very good! Next time take it to a different dealership! And defintiely complain to VoA. Usually after a service they will call you and ask you to rate the service. There is a lot that weighs on these, awards, cash incentives for the dealership, etc, so they take them very seriously.

This was the one I have been using for a while and always found to go above and beyond...I am so damn pissed...they will be hearing from me tomorrow morning!!

yeah that really *****. They should find some way to compensate you or at least guarantee a time when you can rbing it in and get it back within hours!

Ask to speak with the owner, its the only way to get things done... especially if you go to Amityville. I had a problem that nobody would help me with and I finally had to go through the better business bureau to get things handled. I had such poor customer service there that I turned my car in early- and it was like my dream car. I was so disappointed.

No its in Nassau....I will never buy another VW..and I loved this car in the beginning but its has been plagued with problems

Maybe thats what happened at mine...its not even the one I bought my car at..which was the one in Sayville but that is just too far for me to travel everytime I have a problem..WHICH IS OFTEN!!

i jhad a jetta- i got so mad and frustrated that i bought another car - and actually owned 2 for a while until i sold it. the customer service and the service locations are all crooks and horrible. its a shame b/c they are decent cars- but the mechanics dont know how to fix them

I have a Bug, FH has a Jetta. They've both had their problems, and I used to ay 'Auugh! I hate my piece of shizz car!' but I really love my car and the problems were so minor the service people fixed them promptly.

I learned..DON'T GO TO THE DEALER for any repairs or recommendations on what needs to be repaired. Try to find another mechanic!!! that's what I did with my VW.

my boyfriend and my cousin have VW and have had nothing but problems. My cousin cant wait to get rid of hers and my bf just traded his in for a Toyota truck....

when i used to bring my Jetta to the dealership for oil changes something else always went wrong with it the week after.....it was a little fishy to me. I don't bring it to them anymore, I bring it to a regular mechanic for whatever needs to be done! I really think they try to rip people off. can you try bringing it somewhere else? Maybe a regular mechanic can order the parts and then repair it for you.

Kath is it G C VOlks????? THey are HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i bring it in for something it comes out having more problems then when i brought it in!
Try making an app't at the service center in Great Neck they are great, and they act. fix the car FM if you need info Kristin

I had a bug and loved it, but I HATED dealing with the dealers for any warranty repairs. They are the biggest thieves in the world! ESPECIALLY Donaldsons in Sayville- I absolutely despise them. They are so rude and I had so many issues with those guys. I thought after I got rid of my bug that I would be rid of them forever, but working for a car insurance company, I STILL have to deal with them. Take my advice, only go to the dealer when necessary (i.e. warranty repair), go anywhere else for repairs or body work.
