I spoke to the doctor's secretary, he will be calling me later on to give me more info, but basically this is whats happening.
I guess my mom was so upset and scared she got confused, she wasn't understanding what was going on.(her english isn't great, speaking it shes fine, translating different story)
The lump isn't cancerous, neither is the tissue surrounding it. Thank you god.
They still have to remove the lump and surrounding tissue, which I will find out later when the doctor calls me as to why they have to do this, I'm thinking its probably for precautions, etc.
I just breathed a huge sigh of relief, you have no idea.
Now I just have to get through the next week. FH's surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday.

Update Again: I spoke to the doctor the lump was benign(sp) but the surrounding cells are showing characteristics that the biopsy didnt necessarily pick up. the characteristics aren't cancer, but for precautions it is better to have them removed. Mom has to go back and pick up the film/xrays from the radiologist's office and then have a pre op surgery appt. with the surgeon then have the surgery. All will be done by th end of this month. i'm still little concerned about the surrounding cells, but I'm relieved about the other results.

Its been a stressful couple of weeks, but that just took a lot of away. I will be wearing my I <3 Mom tshirt when I get home that I bought from Old Navy.

I'm so happy things are okay with you mother! My mother went through this with her uterus. It may not be cancerous, but a build up of cells can cause future problems, not even cancer related, but blood flow related, so it's better for them to be removed when you're healthy than when you're not.
